PRIMEDIC™ HandyScan - The mobile ultrasound device for emergency medicine
This mobile
ultrasound device has been developed especially for the emergency services, in close
cooperation with experienced emergency doctors. It offers an exceptionally high level
of serviceability for use in emergency medicine. The use of this device in air rescue
and in ground based emergency services has been proven repeatedly and has helped
optimise the pre clinical and early clinical management of injured patients.
High
resolution display
The high-resolution TFT Display of the PRIMEDIC™ HandyScan provides
an extremely sharp ultrasound image - previously only available in larger clinical
instruments from a much higher price category. The one-hand operating features and
handling of the light instrument (only approx. 2 kg) have been designed not to restrict
the user's freedom to move and act at the intervention site. The battery performance
of more than five hours provides maximum performance and reliability.
