The company Metrax GmbH in Rottweil announces that shortly the
PRIMEDIC™ HeartSave Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) will be operated
according to the newly published recommendations by American Heart Association
(AHA) and European Resuscitation Council (ERC). The devices, which are already
in circulation in the market, can be locally updated. For updating the
operating-system it is not necessary to return the devices.

At present the development team is intensively working on the implementation of
these new scientific recommendations in the course of cardiopulmonary
resuscitation. The complete availability is expected within first quarter 2006.
